AccuLock’s journey began in 1991 as a D&R Locksmith subsidiary, owned by Rick Segerstrom. What started as a local service for the DFW Metroplex transformed during a chance meeting at a trade show with Fred Crum of Saflok. This fortuitous encounter led to Rick’s first hotel guest room lock installation at the Omni Mandalay Hotel in Irving, Texas.
Incorporated in 1996, AccuLock, Inc. grew alongside the electronic lock boom of the 1990s. At our peak, we deployed 17 road crews across the country, eventually installing over 500,000 guest room locks worldwide. Today, we have evolved from a service provider into a manufacturer with our own proprietary lock, while remaining factory-trained and certified by every major hotel lock manufacturer.
